Zootopia is a Disney movie that is suitable for all ages. It's a story that will appeal to both the young and the not so young. Read the following review and decide if it's a movie worth watching.

When I had exhausted all the horror movies that I can watch, my next go to genre is animation and I especially love to watch those that are produced by Disney and Pixar even though I will watch any animated movies as long as the story is interesting. Furthermore, unlike horror movies, I can bring my young children to watch with me too. I don't need to look for a babysitter just to go to the cinema.

Recently, I had the opportunity to watch Zootopia which is produced by Disney and directed by Byron Howard, Rich Moore and Jared Bush. The trio also co-wrote the movie along with five other writers. Zootopia is voiced by many A-list stars that include Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, J. K.

Simmons, Octavia Spencer and Shakira.

Synopsis (no spoilers)

Zootopia is a movie that tells the story of an animal town called Zootopia and a career criminal fox (Nick) who is framed for crimes he didn't commit. And there's a bunny police officer (Judy) who wants to prove to others and her family that she can be a good police officer instead of just a parking attendant. The fox and the bunny join forces to solve the crime that involves a mysterious conspiracy. And a friendship is forged between two long time mutual enemies.

My Opinion of Zootopia

On the whole, Zootopia is quite interesting and not boring at all. There are funny moments especially the scene when Nick and Judy have to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles and the counters are all manned by sloths which are notoriously known to be slow creatures. You can imagine how frustrated Judy is to be dealing with them when she wants to solve the crime as quickly as possible.

It will not be a Disney movie if it doesn't leave the audience feeling good. Like every other Disney animated movies, Zootopia gives you such a feeling that good always triumphs over evil. Zootopia is a movie for the whole family. Both children and adults will definitely enjoy watching this movie.
